Starting in 2020, we developed the Re-Imagined Student Experience Program (RISE Program) which offers year-round internship experiences, in a variety of disciplines to enhance your education and provide hands-on work experience to help launch your career in the medical device field. We are looking for students interested in an Electrical Engineering career to join our organization and collaborate with our team to bring cutting-edge medical devices to life. Come join our growing team! This role consists of 10-12 weeks during the Summer of 2026, starting in June and ending in August. RISE Students will be working directly with their mentor on projects such as: HF Generator for pain management Wearable Electrical Stimulators for various treatments Electrophysiology mapping system Transcutaneous energy transfer system Ventricular assist device Gas delivery system for the treatment of pulmonary hypertension Endoscopic imaging system

Requirements

  • College Student pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or relative field
  • Class status of Sophomore or Junior preferred
  • Interested in pursuing a career in the medical device industry
  • Available 30-40 hours/week preferred
  • Available for 10-12 week Summer RISE Program Internship; beginning in May and wrapping up at the end of August 2025
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Required to be onsite for hands-on activities.
  • Assist in the design and testing of circuits and systems.
  • Assist in device builds and design documentation.
  • Assist in the design, coding, and testing of programmable logic devices
  • Opportunity to learn soldering skills.
