This Position reports to: R&D Manager, Instrumentation Products As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your skills by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. The work model for the role is onsite/hybrid in Bartlesville, OK.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering , in the United States.
  • Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
  • Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with various teams to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and timely project completion within the defined timelines.
  • Designing, manufacturing, and test components that fulfill requirements for various flow board redesign.
  • Analyzing problems or deficiencies and developing Product solutions to resolve them.
  • Conducting experiments and evaluations to improve and innovate product designs.
  • Updating documentation and drawings/designs using ABB tools
  • Work directly with Senior Engineers to develop and test new electrical approaches for ABB Products
  • Learning Windchill PLM tool
