About The Position

Epsilon C5I is seeking intelligent, creative self-starters who are majoring in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines for internship opportunities in our Beavercreek, OH office. These will be full-time paid internship opportunities awarded on a competitive basis. The summer intern assignments will begin in late May/early June following the completion of the school year and last through mid-August. The successful candidate(s) will be provided with hands-on experience working with members of our professional Engineering Team on technically oriented projects in the field of reinforcement learning and applying it to vehicle control.

Requirements

  • Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
  • Candidates must meet eligibility requirements for a TS/SCI government security clearance.
  • Emphasis on emerging Juniors and Seniors pursuing degrees in engineering, science, or mathematics.
  • Must work well both in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Must have strong research, writing and communication skills.
  • Must have excellent computer skills and experience formatting, graphs, diagrams, and tables.
  • Must be a full-time student at an accredited, U.S. college or university.
  • Must have demonstrated a high level of academic achievement.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship experience highly desirable.
  • Local candidates preferred.
  • Individual completed junior year of studies, major in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Applied Math or related disciplines.
  • Experience in integrating LMMs into processes.
  • Working knowledge of git, code containerization.
  • Knowledge of AI Gym environments,
  • Experience designing custom neural networks in Python, Keras, Tensorflow, and PyTorch

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to develop code to implement and compare artificial intelligence techniques.
  • Possible projects include integrating large language models into our business and technical processes, using deep reinforcement learning to train agents to perform tasks, and investigating ways to implement AI algorithms with lower power.
