Participants in the Electrical Engineering internship program will have the opportunity to work with the CNS Electrical Engineering department within Collins Aerospace to learn aspects of the Electrical design, simulations, test, and analysis of Aircraft Navigation products/systems. This role is onsite, in Melbourne, FL. This role may be eligible for relocation.

Requirements

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

Nice To Haves

Electrical Circuits and Analysis (DC and AC) knowledge.
Electrical Circuits Simulation experience.
MATLAB experience.
Experience with Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer.

Responsibilities

Will assist in researching, developing, simulating, designing, and testing electrical components, sub systems and systems as well as resolving day-to-day technical problems by troubleshooting electrical devices / circuits problems in the lab.
Completes engineering documentation / designs as required, operates engineering lab equipment, and confers with stakeholders regarding engineering projects.
Performs engineering work and applied research, development, and design for Avionics products to ensure quality standards and functional objectives are met.
