As a electrical engineering intern you will use knowledge obtained from core college courses. Working with other internal departments on similar engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments.

You will report to the Main Power Sys & Equip Manager and be located at our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full-time onsite position for the summer.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Completed Sophomore year of college
• No relocation assistance provided

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks using Software Packages such as ETAP, Mathcad, AutoCAD, or equivalent and new program packages.
• Provide engineering design and analysis for nuclear products/projects including electrical system design, instrumentation and controls designs, and system wiring.
• Work with other internal departments on similar engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments.
• Plan and schedule work tasks to meet assignment requirements.
• Evaluate, select and utilize standards, techniques, procedures, and criteria for development of engineering design documents including calculations and specifications.
