Requirements

Successfully completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, from an accredited program.
Minimum of 6+ years of work experience with complex building electrical systems in the commercial, industrial and power / process sector.
PE licensure in the State of Florida is required, or ability to obtain within 6 months
Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential for team-based projects.
Excellent planning and organizational skills required for simultaneous project schedules.
Highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges.
Required Code and Standard Knowledge: NEC, NESC, IES, NFPA 70E, IEEE Color Book Series
Required Software Capabilities: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, SKM, ETAP or similar modeling software, Agi-32 or Similar Lighting Software

Responsibilities

Experience in the design of electrical and controls systems for commercial facilities, chiller plants, and water/wastewater pumping systems
Experience in designs for commercial and industrial.
Low & medium voltage distribution systems
Emergency Generator Systems for backup and life safety
Automated Control Systems
SCADA communication systems
Comfortable working in a team environment and directing/managing the work completed by others, including subconsultant team members, and mentoring young engineers and designers.
