Electrical Engineer III - Substation P&C

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related engineering disciplines
- Experience in SCADA system design, preferably in the renewable energy industry
- Experience with industrial communication protocol, such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, DNP3.0, Ethernet/IP, SEL Fast Messaging, IEC 61850, Telnet
- Experience with networking devices and communication configuration
- Experience with ASPEN
- Experience with relay settings
- Proven ability to work under pressure and on tight deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to efficiently communicate and report at all levels
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to travel up to 30%
Nice To Haves
- Preferred experience with configuring and testing Beckwith, Calisto and other MPT monitoring devices.
- Experience with RTAC and Orion RTU testing and programming
- Candidates with previous internship experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop relay settings and protection philosophy
- Review panel design, wiring, and testing
- Review protection and control design drawings
- Review network and communication design drawings
- Troubleshoot and field test substation SCADA panels
- Design SCADA communication related drawings
- Requires travel, including potential international travel to job sites
