About The Position

At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! The role is part of the In-Space Systems business unit, which is focused on addressing two of the most compelling challenges in spaceflight today: space infrastructure and increasing mobility on-orbit. As part of a hardworking team of engineers, you will own significant scopes of Electrical Engineer II design capabilities, EGSE functional test and support EGSE deployment on spacecraft test campaign efforts for various space vehicles. Coordinate with avionics product owners, engage with customers, and assist EGSE deployments for Blue Ring test teams. In a fast-paced, dynamic environment, you will architect the EGSE design, develop/release electrical/mechanical engineering drawings, manufacture/test EGSE racks, and write/release software for EGSE products. You will lead elements of EGSE deployment during vehicle integration all the way through final testing in preparation for launch. Special Mentions: Travel up to 25% required
