About The Position

The Electrical Engineer II for Intelligrated Services, LLC is a key part of our project engineering team, responsible for the coordination and implementation of all electrical components associated with assigned system projects. This role requires the timely execution, technical quality, and functionality of the electrical design and implementation of assigned systems and subsystems, following technical specifications and design guidelines. The position involves leading a team on project design and implementation, forecasting and managing project budgets, and tracking project deliverables. Telecommuting is permitted up to two times per week, and up to 50% domestic travel is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology or a related field.
  • 1 year of experience in electrical engineering.
  • Knowledge of controls hardware.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering functional teams.
  • Ability to evaluate and recommend technical solutions based on standard or accepted technical practices.
  • Programming knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key part of the project engineering team.
  • Take responsibility for the coordination and implementation of all electrical components associated with assigned system projects.
  • Lead a team on project design and implementation.
  • Forecast, manage project budgets, and track project deliverables.
  • Create electrical model drawings, electrical device layout drawings, e-stop drawings, network drawings, including schematic drawings by panel.
  • Conduct internal and external design reviews of Tilt Tray and Cross-belt sortation systems designs.
  • Develop buyout configuration and motor calculation worksheets.
  • Create single-line drawings.
  • Order control panels, electrical field devices, and electrical buyouts.
  • Develop electrical spare parts list and site readiness checklist.
  • Set up electrical field bus networks.
  • Perform I/O checkout and commissioning.
  • Create electrical punch list for installation.
  • Troubleshoot electrical product issues on site.
  • Provide as-built technical documentation.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with other engineering and implementation teams.
  • Mentor less experienced engineers.
