As an Electrical Engineer I in our Seattle office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

Requirements

  • BSEE/BSAE from ABET accredited school
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Non-academic internship
  • Strong spoken and written communications skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes
  • Able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
  • Effective working individually and within team environments

Nice To Haves

  • Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities/student organizations preferred
  • EIT certification (Passed the FE exam) a plus
  • Internship experience in the MEP consulting engineering field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Work with and be mentored by experienced engineers
  • Help to mentor designers
  • Perform load calculations
  • Determine system sizing and layouts
  • Calculate equipment sizes
  • Select equipment
  • Complete field surveys
  • Review equipment shop drawings
  • Take on a greater role in leading electrical project teams (as experience is gained)
  • Write specifications (as experience is gained)
  • Participate in project meetings with clients and other consultants (as experience is gained)
  • Support construction-phase work (as experience is gained)
