About The Position

As an Electrical Engineer I you will work with the Electrical Engineering team to develop technology for nuclear power plants. This position is hybrid in nature requiring 2 days/week on-site in Cranberry, PA or Rock Hill, SC. You will report to the Manager - Electrical Engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3.0 GPA helpful
• Learn and master engineering software required.
• Engineering in Training Certification or desire to obtain with long-term goal of obtaining P.E.
• Must value safety and quality
• Open to limited travel.
• Prior experience w/ technical engineering projects and research.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in the design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants.
• Develop technical expertise in US and international nuclear markets.
• Work in teams to resolve critical issues affecting the construction and operation of nuclear power plants.
• Develop a business relationship with Westinghouse customers.
• Learn the design and operation of pressurized water reactor (PWR) nuclear power plants.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations to communicate a variety of issues: project status, problem resolution, engineering recommendations.
