Eos Atomics is developing next-generation Neutral Beam Injection (NBI) systems for the emerging commercial magnetic fusion industry. Our focus is on compact, continuous-wave, medium- and high-energy neutral beams that dramatically reduce cost, footprint, and operational complexity compared to legacy systems used in national laboratories. We are assembling a small, elite engineering team to bridge accelerator physics, high-voltage power electronics, and fusion-grade reliability as we move from prototype systems toward commercial deployment. We are seeking a High-Voltage Electrical Engineer to support the design, analysis, and early commercialization of medium- and high-energy Neutral Beam Injection subsystems. This role is ideal for an electrical engineer with deep experience in HV power systems, pulsed or CW HV architectures, insulation and grounding strategies, and safety-critical electrical design, who wants to contribute meaningfully without committing to a full-time role. You will work closely with plasma physicists, mechanical engineers, and systems engineers to translate fusion-grade requirements into robust, manufacturable electrical designs.
