About The Position

Zachary Piper Solutions is expanding its Engineering Center of Excellence and seeking experienced Electrical Engineers to support large-scale aerospace and defense projects. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge mission systems and avionics hardware in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment. This position is fully onsite in Owego, New York.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of hardware engineering experience
• Familiarity with DO-254 and DO-178 standards
• Domain experience in aerospace or defense systems (rotary or fixed-wing):
• Avionics hardware design
• Mission computing systems
• Tactical communications and data links
• Navigation systems
• Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) and digital backbone networks
• Sensor and survivability systems

• Cameo for systems modeling
• Embedded systems design
• Integration and test experience in lab environments

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical hardware for mission-critical systems
• Perform hardware trade studies, analyses, and integration
• Support agile development cycles-design and test in parallel
• Collaborate with systems, software, and integration teams
• Participate in technical reviews and document engineering artifacts
• Provide engineering support for production and factory follow-up
