About The Position
Thales is looking for an Electrical Engineer to participate in HW (hardware design), development, test and qualification of IFEC (In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity) head end LRU (Line Replaceable Units) products to satisfy our customers and meet market demands. You will be responsible to perform a subset of all the hardware-engineering activities required to develop a HW embedded solution/product, and will participate in co-engineering activity with the PCB, Mechanical, SW (Software) and System engineering teams. In this position, you will also be expected to understand the customer’s needs, through life cycle concerns, whatever means are used (e.g. advanced studies, simulations, mock-ups, models, prototypes, etc.), formalize missions / function description, architectural design and requirements and assemble the solution / product elements in a logical and controlled manner to evaluate the design, behavior, interactions and performance and confirm that the requirements against which the solution / product has been designed are fulfilled. You will demonstrate that the solution / product satisfies the overall approved operational needs and that the product data package is ready for release to production and to operation and support functions.
