Requirements

• Bachelors of Science Degree in an Engineering discipline or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical systems, including large electrical motors, variable speed drive systems, and necessary auxiliary components.
• Market knowledge of rotating electrical machines and associated components.
• Knowledge of power system studies, including sub-synchronous torsional interaction analysis.
• Experience in leading technical discussions and designing solutions for integrating electrical drive systems for turbocompressors.
• Extensive technological knowledge in the field of complex electrical drive systems.

Responsibilities

• Increase the profile for Siemens Energy as a leader in providing motor driven turbocompressors.
• Attend and lead discussions with clients for rotating equipment proposals during pre-FEED, FEED, firm proposals, or project discussions during execution.
• Create profit by managing multiple suppliers for transformer, drive, and motor electrical drive systems and mitigating the risk of integration.
• Lead the technical strategy for the electrical drive systems for motor driven compressor opportunities.
• Propose optimization of compressor selection with respect to best electrical drive system solution.
• Lead a team and attract talented electrical engineers within the Siemens Energy Compression division.
