  • Conduct electrical engineering based field investigations and analyze fires/failures/accidents involving all types of electrical equipment and wiring systems.
  • Perform electrical evaluations of failed and damaged components in various facilities to determine the root cause of failures.
  • Apply electrical engineering principles in accordance with industry standards to investigation analysis.
  • Conduct unbiased field and lab investigations for various types of clients.
  • Deliver professional presentations and develop client relationships.
  • Provide technical findings and conclusions in laymen's terms both verbally and in writing.
  • Support conclusions by appropriate testimony in legal proceedings.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required, master's degree preferred.
  • Must have P.E. registration through testing.
  • Seven (7) years of engineering experience.
  • Background in power systems, controls, and NEC knowledge helpful.
  • Interest in manufacturing failures and fire-related investigations.
  • Excellent oral and writing skills.
  • Public speaking experience a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
