About The Position

In this position you will work with a team of engineers on projects involving modifications to existing nuclear power generation plants and associated plant electrical systems. Under the mentorship of senior engineering staff you will participate in the design and preparation of design packages for nuclear power plants. You will work with other engineering disciplines in the completion of client projects. Read design drawings and technical specifications. Prepare project deliverables including engineering calculations, specifications, and evaluations. Learn how to use and apply industry codes and government regulations along with discipline-specific computer analysis codes. Occasional travel to client and plant site locations for design reviews, construction coordination and field verification of designs as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited school.
  • 0-2 years of related practical work experience.
  • Self-motivated and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CAD Software.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
