Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a 2026 Summer Intern Electrical Engineer. In this role, you will research and develop Electrical Power System (EPS) architecture, investigate and analyze air vehicle electrical loads, and design and develop EPS components such as power sources and distribution systems. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of electrical engineering principles, electrical power systems, and technical skills such as circuit analysis and design, as well as experience with electrical engineering tools and software. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Requirements

  • Pursuing Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or a stem related discipline.
  • Adaptable and willingness to stretch technically and learn new things
  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Electrical Harness Design
  • Experience creating electrical architectures and system requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
