This role is ideal for a smart, sharp, and driven engineer with a strong grasp of concept-level design, schematics, and construction drawings. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, with experience in electrical power systems design for mission-critical environments. As a subject matter expert, you will have a direct impact on the design of prototypical Data Center sites, provide technical design guidance and vendor oversight, solve large-scale implementation issues, and build a strong understanding of site design and program requirements. The successful candidate will develop and implement design strategies to expand the firm’s expertise, footprint and profitability in Critical Facilities and Digital Infrastructure. Our client is looking for a Critical Facilities Engineer that has expertise in Electrical Power Systems Engineering and design for data center and infrastructure development efforts, specifically for large data centers. This challenging and unique role will involve the initial design specifications and prototype of critical power systems for new data centers and expansions to existing data centers. The ideal candidate will have experience and in-depth knowledge of Electrical Power Systems / Electrical Power Distribution System design and installation. Previous experience with electrical equipment design to include Generators, UPS systems and electrical switchgear is a must. You will help lead the design team and working / communicating with all the trades and stakeholders involved in all projects.
