About The Position

Join the Mission Systems team in Richardson, TX as a summer (June start) and fall (early to mid-December end) co-op student. You will need to take the fall semester off in order to do this role. This role is onsite, in Richardson, TX. This role may be eligible for relocation.

Requirements

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Solidworks or similar 3D CAD software.
• Familiarity with ANSYS or other mechanical analysis software.

Responsibilities

• You will apply research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, under technical supervision.
• You will work with engineers and designers to produce models for components, parts, subassemblies, and assemblies.
• You will execute tests for systems, subsystems, and components under technical oversight.
• You will analyze test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives.
• You will communicate effectively in a cross-functional team.
