About The Position

The position involves designing and developing highly complex electrical systems, sub-systems, and solutions by applying engineering methods. The role contributes to research and development efforts for future products by collecting and analyzing data to improve electrical system designs. The candidate will develop functional specifications for complex electrical and electro-mechanical systems and power distribution components. Collaboration with cross-functional engineering design teams is essential to design and modify custom and OEM system components. The role also includes performing hands-on testing and validation using lab equipment to characterize the performance of electrical and electro-mechanical systems. Additionally, the candidate will prepare high-quality reports and technical presentations to communicate design intent, analysis, and results to diverse audiences during design reviews. The position also involves acting as a resource and mentor for junior colleagues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 12+ years of experience; or Master's degree with 8+ years' experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Semiconductor capital equipment power distribution design experience.
  • Experience in industrial electronics, control systems, and I/O.
  • High voltage power supply design experience.
  • Experience working with vendors to implement designs in a timely and cost-effective manner.
