This position is for a motivated Electrical Hardware engineering candidate to be involved in the design, implementation, verification, and integration of a wide variety of high-performance analog/digital equipment, power supplies, ASICs and FPGAs applied to signal processing and information assurance products across Mission Systems on the Product Enabling Technologies team. This role may be eligible for relocation.

  • You will focus on PM&P (Parts, Materials, and Process); learning the component selection process that is required for many DoD type contracts with emphasis on build quality, compatibility, standards and testing, and the logistics of procurement with customer scrutiny.
  • You will also scale up and work on cable design (electrical A-Kits), board design and upgrading, requirements analysis, Integration and Test activities, power supplies (AC-DC, DC-DC), Aircraft power controls and generation, signal processing, antenna design, and power amplification.
  • You may provide technical inputs for project design teams by breaking down work, planning activities, and reporting status.
  • You will focus in the future on these skills, that include requirements capture, ASIC / FPGA digital architecture and design using RTL, timing closure, verification, system integration, and cost account management.
  • Requires a Master’s degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Familiarity with best practice chip-level verification techniques and languages (e.g. constrained random, functional coverage, SystemVerilog).
  • ASIC / FPGA lab validation with advanced lab equipment.
  • Design for Test (DFT) and manufacturability issues.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux, scripting, C/C++, and/or Perl.
