About The Position

Our Avionics Test Engineering team in Burnsville Minnesota is seeking an Electrical & Electronics Engineer Intern to partner with us for June through August 2026 and gain experience in the Aerospace industry. In this role, you will be exposed to a wide variety of test solutions at various stages of their life cycle. A successful candidate will be a fast learner with the ability to respond to requests efficiently. Day-to-day activities include designing and developing test hardware such as cables, power distribution boxes, circuit card assemblies, switch matrices, troubleshooting test solutions, and updating documentation. This role is onsite, in Burnsville, MN. This role may be eligible for relocation.

Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  • Basic understanding of Electronics and Electrical Design.
  • Student pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

  • You will assist in researching, developing, designing, and testing electrical components, equipment, and systems, as well as resolving day-to-day technical problems by troubleshooting electrical devices problems on the production line.
  • You will gain knowledge about designing electrical equipment, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
  • You will assist in analyzing and evaluating new or improved electronic components.
  • You will troubleshoot and resolve electrical devices problems and day-to-day technical problems on the production lines to minimize disruption to production.
