Raytheon is seeking an Electrical & Electronics Engineer II, to support Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC) factories in McKinney, TX. Your responsibilities will include evaluating test results of complex assemblies and determining root cause of failures. You will give directions for reworking and retesting failed assemblies. You will track trends to detect systemic problems. You will work closely with multiple functions such as manufacturing engineering, factory operations, and quality engineering to develop improvements in yields, test procedures, cycle times, etc. Learn how cutting-edge technology meets the needs of America’s warfighters. Learn how to evaluate product failures, determine rework procedures, and develop improvements to prevent recurrence.

Requirements

  • Typically Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with radio frequency (RF) product testing and associated RF test equipment.
  • Experience testing, troubleshooting, and documenting test results.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to perform complex analysis with minimal guidance, including experience in designing experiments for troubleshooting and investigations.
  • Experience in data analysis for identifying trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Root cause and corrective action (RCCA) experience.
  • Experience reading drawings.
  • Experience with factory operating systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with large teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot systems failing test, identify failure cause, and disposition hardware for rework.
  • Troubleshoot electronic or electro-mechanical devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems.
  • Investigate failure trends for root cause and implement corrective actions.
  • Work on producibility improvements (reductions in cycle time, touch time, and cost).
