Grow with us, H2O+U. Your Opportunity You will contribute to design work for projects of varying size and complexity under the guidance of a Senior Electrical Engineer and/or Designer. As an Engineer in Training, you will be responsible for applying basic knowledge and general engineering concepts to size, evaluate, select, and specify electrical power, lighting and/or auxiliary systems for use on assigned projects. You will perform a variety of tasks which may include conducting field investigations, preparing design calculations, assisting with product research, and developing design drawings. #ElectricalH2O

Requirements

• Understanding of AutoCad, and the use of it as an electrical design tool.
• Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought.
• Understanding of electrical engineering concepts and ability to effectively communicate ideas to others.
• Ability to interpret sketches, drawings, building program and other similar material.
• Requires understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to take direction, follow process and accept feedback and suggestions from Senior Engineers / Designers.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 0-3 years experience

Nice To Haves

• Co-op / internship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts basic interpretations of drawings, codes, and other similar materials.
• Performs electrical design using knowledge of relevant software programs.
• Works with other engineering disciplines and professionals in the coordination of the project under the direction of a senior engineer and/or designer.
• Performs field work as directed by a senior engineer and/or designer.
• Performs basic calculations to analyze and design electrical system components using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software.
• Assists with engineering duties on projects of various complexity.
• Assists with collecting data and gathering information to support design decisions.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the senior engineering staff.
