About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Drafter who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on developing and updating electrical schematics, bills of materials, and visual installation documentation to support engineering and production efforts.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Understanding of electrical manufacturing processes and their impact on design
Strong proficiency in SolidWorks Electrical
Ability to create 2D layouts and schematic drawings
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High level of attention to detail and strong work ethic
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
Capable of reading and interpreting electrical schematics

Nice To Haves

Experience with AutoCAD Electrical is preferred
Basic understanding of electrical design concepts and functionality is preferred
Experience with 3D modeling tools such as AutoCAD and Inventor is preferred

Responsibilities

Complete complex drafting and design tasks with minimal supervision
Develop drawings and models based on verbal and written input from engineering teams
Collaborate with engineers to ensure design accuracy, adherence to standards, and proper documentation
Review drawings to confirm completeness and precision
Maintain and track revisions for all project drawings
Evaluate engineering drawings to ensure compliance with specifications
Provide timely technical support and solutions to internal teams
Participate in project meetings and conference calls as needed
Prepare engineering documentation for customer submittals
