About The Position

We are looking for inspired, motivated drafters to support the J.F. Taylor Defense Solutions & Products Group electrical design team. Develop electrical system drawings and schematics in support of manufacturing drawing packages. Create electrical system level and cable assembly drawings and electrical schematics using AutoCAD. Interface with the Electrical Engineering Team to update redline drawings. Research part information for common hardware and electrical connectors and prepare parts lists spreadsheets in MS Excel. Will be required to work in a process oriented environment and comply with all Configuration Management processes for document control.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2D CAD experience is required.
• Experience in electrical drafting and formal training or on-the-job experience with AutoCAD is preferred.
• AutoCAD experience with cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, electrical schematics, electrical block diagrams and familiarity with electronic symbols is desired.
• Basic knowledge of electrical schematics is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
