The Electrical Designer - Level 1 position is an entry level Designer position, responsible for learning and performing basic electrical design related tasks under the direct guidance of upper level Electrical Design/ Engineering staff, as assigned by the Corporate Engineering Manager. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, and AutoCAD/Revit knowledge is preferred.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Electrical Technology or
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years electrical experience with knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC), and general background and/or interest in learning and applying Electrical design principles.
• AutoDesk Inventor preferred or
• Journeyman Electricians License, combined with demonstrated design aptitude
• Travel: 0-10%
• This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday.
• Overtime may be required.
• Must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

• AutoCAD/Revit knowledge is preferred.
• Experience with AutoDesk Inventor preferred

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, assists in the preparation of electrical designs for power, lighting, and low voltage electrical system installations.
• Interacts with Engineering, Design and CAD support staff on a daily basis.
• Checks CAD-produced drawings against design input for accuracy.
• Consistently follows Faith Technologies established design standards.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
