Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering required
• Proficiency with Solidworks Electrical required
• A minimum of three years of previous engineering experience required (internships and co-ops can be considered in this role)
• Experience creating electrical schematics from scratch required

Nice To Haves

• Ability to travel 5-10% strongly preferred
• Familiarity with renewable energy systems, including inverter and battery-based systems a plus

Responsibilities

• Create schematics for electrical power systems
• Specify, source, and test electrical components
• Design electrical power systems, including familiarity with generators, distribution transformers, breakers, and other components within a distribution system
• Ensure knowledge and experience in electrical safety, including low-voltage AC systems and medium voltage systems
• Conduct iterative planning, prototyping, and validation testing of designs
• Implement electrical software and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners
