The Boeing Company is seeking an Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer (Entry-Level, Associate or Mid-Level). As part of Boeing's Space Electronics division, you will oversee and perform the design, analysis, manufacture, integration and testing of electronics for satellites. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • Experience in Analog, Digital, and/or Power Electronics.

Nice To Haves

  • Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Level 4: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with Power conditioning electronics, control system design and theory.
  • Experience with Circuit design and analysis - with focus on Power Supply, Analog, and/or Digital design.
  • Experience with Electronics test methodology.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes customer and system requirements to develop basic architectural approaches and detailed specifications for various electronic products.
  • Develops high-level and detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications.
  • Validates designs through various methods of review, testing and analysis.
  • Identifies, tracks and statuses technical performance measures to measure progress and ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Supports Supplier Management with make/buy recommendations and other technical services of limited scope.
  • Provides engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product.
  • Investigates emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
  • Design and lead the development of state-of-the art power and analog electronics for space-based applications.
  • Perform Technical support for production and test of space-qualified electronics and leading-edge technology.

  • Develop high-level diagrams and detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications.
  • Validate designs through various methods of review, testing and analysis with emphasis on Power Supply, Analog, and/or Digital Circuit Design.

  • Provide engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product.
  • Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs and design/analysis processes to meet projected requirements.
