Requirements

Proven experience as an electrical and controls professional in an industrial maintenance setting
Strong working knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial control networks
Demonstrated experience with Allen-Bradley control platforms and drives
Ability to work with multiple types and generations of controllers and equipment
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team
Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset
Willingness and ability to work overtime and provide off-hours support when needed

Nice To Haves

Experience in high-speed manufacturing, food production, bakery, or packaging environments preferred

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical, instrumentation, and control systems in a high-speed bakery and packaging environment
Program, modify, load, communicate, and troubleshoot PLC and controller software across multiple generations and platforms
Configure, program, and maintain HMIs and VFDs, including Allen-Bradley drives
Support instrumentation and controls systems, including I/O, sensors, and field devices
Collaborate with the maintenance team to diagnose equipment issues and implement effective corrective actions
Design, implement, and document control system improvements and equipment modifications
Participate in continuous improvement efforts with a focus on safety, reliability, efficiency, and uptime
Provide flexible support for off-hour troubleshooting or emergency calls as required
Assist with commissioning, testing, and startup of new or modified equipment
Maintain accurate documentation, backups, and version control of programs and system changes
