About The Position

Job Summary: Responsible for supporting production test rack personnel and equipment in the Electrical control Area. Assisting Control Engineers in new product testing and construction. Maintaining and providing upgrades to facility in terms of new software updates. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Works closely with the Controls team to provide support skills such as prototype build (Test Fixture or Electrical Panels etc.), and modification as required. Ability to perform software updates and upgrades on preexisting controls and programs around facility. To provide technical controls support to Engineering Product Management and Research & Development teams. Act as first response for Electrical Controls Team on all Production Support calls. Troubleshooting, and repairing of electrical and control systems associated with HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) equipment Collaborate with HVAC mechanical technicians, engineers, and project managers to meet project goals and timelines. Ensure compliance with safety codes, NEC, UL standards, and other regulatory requirements. Building Tools to assist production/Technical, building Test Fixtures. Maintain accurate documentation of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service reports. Support Parkville Software Engineers with future controls testing. Assist in developing control strategies for custom HVAC applications. Travel to job sites on occasion if needed Troubleshoot relays, contactors, transformers, VFDs, sensors, and control board. Education and Experience Requirements: 3+ Years’ Experience in HVAC related industry. Electrical/Electronic Controls Preferred Associate's degree (A. A. / A. S.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Experienced in using Digital Voltmeter to measure current, voltage, and ohm unit Experienced in using Manifold HVAC Gauges to measure discharge, suction, and liquid pressures. Experienced using Temp Sensor Readings to measure discharge, suction, and liquid temperatures. Ability to work well with others. Knowledge of electrical or electronic systems, voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, inductance, relays. Ability to read schematics for wiring and troubleshooting purposes. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to calculate Superheat and Subcooling reading. Be able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Microsoft Office Periodic visits to our other manufacturing facilities. Work Environment: Lift up to 25lbs. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Requirements

  • 3+ Years’ Experience in HVAC related industry.
  • Electrical/Electronic Controls Preferred
