The Electrical Controls Engineer is responsible for designing, integrating, and testing a wide range of electrical systems that support both Kendall Howard products and facility operations. This includes work on battery systems, automation controls, UL 508A-certified panels, and high-capacity power distribution units up to 1000 kVA. The role requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, with the ability to apply creative problem-solving skills to real-world challenges. The Electrical Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are safe, reliable, and efficient, while also supporting continuous improvement in product performance and manufacturing processes. Experience with PLC programming is considered beneficial but not required.
