About The Position
The New York Power Authority is seeking a Construction Engineer to coordinate and observe work for general conformance of contract documents. This role involves overseeing the work of construction contractors at NYPA or Customer facilities, ensuring quality workmanship in accordance with applicable construction procedures, methods, codes, and specifications. The projects will encompass various engineering disciplines including electrical, civil, mechanical, and instrumentation & control engineering. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering, as this is prioritized to meet business needs. The successful candidate is expected to become a clearance holder.
