About The Position
As an Electrical Commissioning Engineer at Linde Engineering North America LLC, you will support commissioning managers in creating the electrical portions of project commissioning plans, sequencers, safety/LOTO plans, and commissioning checkout books, adhering to Linde and industry standard procedures, guidelines, and best practices. Your role will involve participating in the review of electrical drawings and factory acceptance tests at vendor shops, monitoring construction progress, and ensuring that electrical equipment installation complies with drawings and specifications prior to turnover to commissioning. You will inspect the installation and termination of field electrical contractor installed wiring, perform control wiring checks, and work collaboratively with field teams, vendors, and engineering to resolve deficiencies. Additionally, you will actively participate in third-party testing, review equipment testing results, perform live switching of associated equipment, and record all activity completion in electrical checkout books for turnover to clients or operations.
