About The Position

The St. Maries Complex is seeking a certified industrial electrician to support its Plywood and Lumber manufacturing operations. This role involves the installation, maintenance, calibration, programming, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment in an industrial mill setting. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including potential overtime and weekend work.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong aptitude in preventative maintenance and repair.
• Current Journeyman license preferred.
• Basic computer skills required; experience with preventative maintenance software preferred.
• Proficient in troubleshooting programmable logic controllers.
• Ability to install and troubleshoot basic industrial control circuits and associated equipment.
• Ability to install wire according to conduit capacity and wire size.
• Ability to bend and install conduit.
• Knowledge in 120-240 VAC single phase and 208-480 VAC three phase power circuits.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Safely install, maintain, calibrate, program, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment in an industrial mill setting.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair on electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot programmable logic controllers and basic industrial control circuits.
• Install wiring according to conduit capacity and wire size, including bending and installing conduit.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble electric motors.
