About The Position

SBA Home North Carolina - The first production facility in the USA by SBA Group, a furniture manufacturer from EU member in Lithuania, with operations starting in late 2025. Over 250 talented professionals will work here and build their careers. It will be a highly robotic and automated factory with products reaching millions of homes in the US. Today we are looking for Electrical Automation Technician who will diagnose and repair electrical faults.

Requirements

  • Degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in maintaining and repairing electrical and automation systems in manufacturing facilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Familiarity with Siemens and CodeSys programming is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical installations and systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and programming issues.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience supervising or coordinating electricians is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Promptly diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and computer-related issues in equipment and automation systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Test and calibrate instruments and sensors to maintain proper functionality.
  • Repair & Diagnostics: Repair and maintain electrical components, including transformers, rheostats, control panels, lighting systems, and automation devices.
  • Inspect, adjust, and verify electrical connections and equipment functionality post-repair.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with occupational safety, fire safety, and environmental standards.
  • Monitor tools, materials, and work conditions to minimize risks and inefficiencies.
  • Promptly report equipment faults or hazards to the supervisor.
  • Collaboration & Documentation: Collaborate with engineers and production teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
  • Recommend improvements to prevent future issues.
