Electrical Automation Specialist / Maintenance Technician Location: Galena, KS Company: PBI Gordon Corporation PBI Gordon is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with strong Industrial/Electrical/PLC programming skills to support, troubleshoot, and enhance our automated production systems. Bring your Industrial/Electrical/PLC expertise to a team that values innovation, safety, and technical excellence.
Requirements
- 7+ years of production maintenance experience with PLCs, high‑voltage, automation, and electrical systems.
- Post‑secondary Industrial/Electrical/PLC training or equivalent experience.
- Master‑level mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and industrial maintenance skills.
- Ability to lift 55+ lbs and operate forklifts.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair production machinery and facility equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Program, maintain, and repair PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and robotics (e.g., Studio 5000, RSLogix, FactoryTalk
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and ladder logic.
- Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment issues.
