About The Position

In partnership with a renowned steel producer in Northwest Indiana, TekPro is searching for an Electrical Asset Integrity Manager to champion reliability across continuous production, casting, and finishing operations. This is a hands-on leadership role where your decisions directly safeguard uptime, safety, and product quality. Requirements

• 5+ years in industrial electrical or maintenance roles within steel, foundry, power, or heavy manufacturing (preferred).
• Expertise in motors, drives, PLC systems, and high-voltage distribution networks.
• Demonstrated team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Sharp troubleshooting, clear communication, and decisive problem-solving.
• Dedication to safety culture and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical maintenance teams during assigned shifts in a fast-paced industrial facility.
• Drive safe, effective maintenance, repairs, and operation of plant power and controls systems.
• Sequence and prioritize work to reduce downtime and support throughput goals.
• Tackle advanced troubleshooting on PLCs, motors, VFDs/drives, and high-/low-voltage distribution.
• Ensure adherence to electrical codes, safety protocols, and preventive maintenance standards.
• Align with operations, mechanical, and reliability engineering to meet production targets.
• Develop people—coach electricians and apprentices to raise technical and safety performance.
