About The Position

The Opportunity: Facility Optimization Solutions, LLC (FOS), is a subsidiary of CannonDesign. At FOS, it’s all about the people. We’re constantly growing, and that’s where this new opportunity comes in. This position can be done in any state in the United States. In this position, the ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting facility condition assessments of the electrical and low-voltage systems for various building types, including healthcare, education, sports, municipal, and commercial facilities across the US. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who gets restless sitting behind a desk and likes to travel! Candidates who do well in this role often have a background as a Journeyman or Master Electrician, Maintenance Electrician, and/or Instrumentational and Electrical Technician for an institutional employer. Projects are typically short and range from one to six months. Field deployments are typically one week in length and usually not more than two per month. FOS is a multidisciplinary professional services and software consultancy founded on the core value that clients are our most important partners. FOS began with a good idea – seeing the need to help facility managers identify what they own, the condition of their facility, and how best to use this data for future capital planning. FOS started as a small operation in 2009 and has grown into a major, multi-office practice that is ranked #1 world-wide for facility-related services by World Architecture 100. We are relentless in our pursuit of client adoration (not simply satisfaction). Consistent delivery of the best service is what we are about. We are committed to ensuring our practice provides equal opportunities for all employees, as we strive to connect with communities around us and focus on the future of design. We support equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts that benefit all employees through the leadership of our DEI Council, our Employee Resource Groups which are open to everyone, and other community initiatives.
