About The Position

Electrical Assembly Technician JOB SUMMARY The Electrical Assembly Technician is responsible for building, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting StoneAge tools and equipment to meet or exceed StoneAge and customer specifications. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, basic electrical knowledge, high attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Assembly Technicians are expected to exemplify the StoneAge OWN IT mindset, values, and self-leadership principles while working as part of a high-performing team.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and work instructions
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with basic electrical knowledge
  • Ability to troubleshoot assembly and system-level issues
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and basic test equipment
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Team-oriented, coachable, dependable, and professional
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred
  • Experience in mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical assembly
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques
  • Must follow all StoneAge safety policies and procedures

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing environment experience preferred
  • Familiarity with waterblasting safety standards is desirable

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, wire, test, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Build StoneAge tools, automated equipment (AE), and related subassemblies per drawings and schematics
  • Perform wiring, cable routing, crimping, soldering, and electrical terminations
  • Follow production schedules and prioritize work to optimize efficiency
  • Communicate material, tooling, quality, or schedule issues to Lead or Manager
  • Ensure all assemblies meet quality standards and QMS requirements
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Inventory, Sales, and Production teams
  • Support packaging, shipment preparation, and equipment installs as needed
  • Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement activities
