Williams International has an exciting opportunity for Electrical Assembly (CCA).  This position is responsible for the assembly of complex circuit card assembly. This position is for 1st Shift (6:00am - 2:30pm).

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturing planning instructions
  • Experience with Circuit Card Assemblies preferred
  • Certification to IPC-7711/7721, J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of experience with automated SMT and through hole CCA equipment
  • 1-2 years in using precision tools, fixture and measuring equipment
  • Ability to read and assemble parts from manufacturing planning instructions
  • Ability to perform detailed work requiring fine motor skills
  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds from floor to height of 25 inches, capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, have a grip strength of at least 50 pounds and be able to reach above shoulder 65 inches above floor level (minimum).
  • Responsible for and accountable for product safety and the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Company’s Quality Policy
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.  Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Responsibilities

  • Fabricate electrical and/or mechanical assemblies
  • Follow manufacturing planning for instructions and inspection requirements per IPC standards.
  • Perform in process electrical tests consistent with an FTP document.
  • Verify dimensions and or performance using standard measuring instruments
