Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years electrical and/or mechanical background, including warehousing and assembly.
  • Strong mechanical and analytical aptitude, along with understanding and basic knowledge of wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Good manual dexterity and experience with power and hand tools, and engraving equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills. Able to manage time effectively.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes and handle pressure.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and as a team member; and collaboratively across departments.
  • Proficient PC skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook); internet navigation and other PC skills.
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs.
  • Powered Industrial Equipment certification.
  • No vision hinderances in relation to color.

Responsibilities

  • Build and assemble projects based on customer specifications utilizing wiring diagrams, schematics, work orders and pictures provided.
  • Provide quality products as well as meet the production schedule for all projects.
  • Assemble projects to the customer's specifications.
  • Assist in production of various phases of assemblies, but also be able to produce a turnkey project from start to finish with direction provided by manager.
  • Perform light manufacturing of multiple product categories in a fast-paced build shop, following defined processes for manufacturing accuracy.
  • Effectively respond to and interact with all levels of Viking team members and other departments, and with vendors.
