About The Position

The Electrical Assembler position at System One involves planning, installing, and repairing wiring and electrical fixtures for automated machinery. The role is structured into three levels, with increasing responsibilities from entry-level tasks such as making measurements and installing components under supervision, to advanced troubleshooting and installation of systems independently. The position requires a strong understanding of electrical schematics and the ability to work safely with live power.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in industrial electrical panel wiring and debugging.
• Ability to wire a panel from prints and schematics.
• Experience with assembly of precision automated machinery and use of major hand tools.
• Skilled trade degree, certification, or 2 years equivalent experience in industrial control wiring is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and ladder logic.

Responsibilities

• Make measurements on control panel enclosures for cut-outs from drawings and actual component measurement under supervision.
• Measure and install electrical cabinetry components such as DIN rail and terminal strips with supervision.
• Drill and tap cabinets for installation of electrical components with supervisory oversight.
• Wire devices inside control cabinets from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Produce electrical cables with various end connections under supervision or inspection.
• Assist with running wire, cable, and conduit from control cabinets to various devices mounted on skid.
• Operate common electricians hand tools and equipment with minimal training.
• Route and install wiring on systems of skid-mounted units with minimal drawing instruction.
• Verify proper operation of control panels after initial wiring.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems in customer installations using logic and electrical drawings.
