About The Position

This position will support our Trachte facility in Oregon, WI. As a part of nVent, Trachte is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered metal buildings for industrial and commercial applications. Today, nVent connects and protects our customers with inventive electrical solutions. We design, manufacture, market, install and service high performance products and solutions for mission-critical equipment, buildings and essential processes. Offering both prefabricated and on-site building capabilities, framed and frameless building construction types, and products ranging from build kits and modular units to fully engineered integrated buildings. The primary responsibilities of the electrician will be to install wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus and control equipment by performing the following duties:

Requirements

  • Familiarity with 120/240 single phase, 120/240V delta 3 phase, 120/208V 3 phase, and 277/480V 3 phase systems
  • Possess a working knowledge of the NEC.
  • Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license required.
  • Indoor work
  • Drive to the same location everyday (Oregon, WI)
  • Year-round work
  • 6am – 6:30pm Friday/Saturday/Sunday. Work 36 hours and get paid for 40!

Nice To Haves

  • Commercial/Industrial Experience preferred, but not required.
  • Working knowledge of switchgear integration is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Install wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus and control equipment
  • Apply knowledge of all types of electrical conduit so as to measure, cut, bend, tread, assemble and install.
  • Splice wires and/or terminate wires to lighting, power and control equipment.
  • Connect power cables to equipment.
