About The Position

Coperion is currently seeking an Electrical Assembler to support our location in Whitewater, WI. The Electrical Assembler will support Operations by diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding electronics to support customer requirements. We have a 5S environment, very clean production floor and great people to work with! Schedule: 1st shift Monday-Thursday 6 am – 3 pm & Friday 6 am - Noon Responsibilities: Participate in the diagnosis, repair, and rebuilding of electronics, products, and components to support customer requirements. Build and inspect panel and cable assemblies to meet production schedules. Perform skilled fitting by mounting chassis or panels of parts and subassemblies. Conduct electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues effectively. Perform final inspections and quality control checks to ensure product compliance with specifications. Test, diagnose, and repair circuits and equipment for functionality and performance. Support our lean manufacturing process with 5S principles. Adhere to ISO 9001 company standards, work instructions, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in Electronics, Electronic Technology, or equivalent with 2-4 years’ experience in electronic assembly, wiring, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Blueprint reading for electrical and mechanical applications.
  • Knowledge in the use of measurement devices (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.).
  • Experience with performing inspections and quality control checks.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Dependability is a must, with a strong attention to detail.
