About The Position

This position involves performing specific tasks including soldering and machine operating once properly trained and/or certified. The job primarily consists of standing/walking and ensuring parts are stocked for the production lines, inducting, labeling, staging, prepping, feeding, tearing down and cycle counting of parts. The role requires conformity to workmanship standards, engineering requirements, and design specifications, while performing in accordance with productivity expectations to meet customer deadlines. Compliance with all rules and regulations of Raytheon Technologies, including Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics and Compliance, Quality, and attendance requirements is mandatory. Participation in cost reduction plans and continuous improvement plans/events, audits, and acquiring applicable skills/knowledge/certifications is also required. The position demands maintaining materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition, reporting to the lead or supervisor on work progress and updates, and completing assigned tasks within the scope and skill level of the job description. The role requires the ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance and to pass a soldering assessment after the training course provided.

Requirements

  • Requires HS Diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline.
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred previous soldering experience.
  • Career Readiness Certification (CRC) strongly preferred.
  • The ability to interpret schematics and/or technical drawings.
  • The ability to successfully complete training modules associated with job grade.
  • The ability to follow assembly instruction.

  • May be standing for 8+ hours.
