About The Position

Requirements

  • Experience in circuit design or evaluation using CAD tools.
  • Experience in circuit testing or troubleshooting.
  • Experience in electro-mechanical integration.
  • Experience working in cross-departmental groups on large-scale projects.
  • Experience with SAP as an ERP or PLM system.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, collaborating with production.
  • Experience with voltage class separation and mechanical protection of wires and cables.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience presenting with suppliers and customers, both internal and external.

Responsibilities

  • Own the development and present solutions for the electrical integration of Heavy Rail projects based on schedules and industry standards.
  • Represent the Electrical Integration group in customer-facing meetings and alignment calls.
  • Steer the development of electrical circuit diagrams and provide feedback to designers and engineers.
  • Review output and supplier design documentation, ensuring a good understanding of electrical circuits and components.
  • Perform component selections using vendor catalogs and calculations as needed.
  • Plan, schedule, and supervise progress on design work packages, providing feedback to management.
  • Understand and ensure personnel safety, electromagnetic interference, and proper sizing of components and wires.
  • Understand Lithium battery technology and its integration and risks.
