About The Position

CCS Construction Staffing is hiring a Traveling Electrical Apprentice / Helper for a commercial project in Lakeland, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn the electrical trade and grow into a full-time, long-term position with the contractor. The ideal candidate is dependable, motivated, and willing to travel to future job sites as needed.

Requirements

• Willing to learn and take direction from lead electricians
• Full-time availability (40 hours/week)
• Some construction experience required
• Must speak English
• Must have a clean background check
• Must have own PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
• Willingness to travel is required

Nice To Haves

• Clean driving record (may drive a company vehicle once hired full-time)
• Fire alarm experience

Responsibilities

• Assisting electricians with daily commercial installation tasks
• Helping with pulling wire, setting boxes, and running conduit
• Learning basic electrical systems and fire alarm setup
• Carrying tools, organizing materials, and maintaining a clean jobsite
• Traveling between projects as required
• Following all safety procedures and supervisor instructions
