CS Erickson is hiring Electrical Apprentices at second, third, and fourth-year levels. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Active Michigan Electrical Apprenticeship license or willingness to obtain one.
2000 + hours as an electrical apprentice.
Developing understanding of electrical systems and wiring principles.
Genuine interest in pursuing a career in the electrical industry.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety.
Excellent attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Physical stamina to work in various environments and lift heavy objects when required.
Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions from experienced electricians.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work professionally with clients and colleagues.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Electrical Installations: Install and connect electrical systems including wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and related components alongside experienced electricians.
Repairs & Maintenance: Troubleshoot electrical issues and execute repairs and maintenance tasks as directed by senior team members.
Blueprint & Schematic Reading: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics to contribute effectively to project execution.
Code Compliance: Apply local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations to ensure compliance on all work.
Tools & Equipment: Safely handle and operate a variety of electrical tools and equipment appropriate to your experience level.
Safety Leadership: Prioritize safety at all times, following established protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a compliant work environment.
Troubleshooting: Develop and apply problem-solving skills to identify and resolve electrical issues with increasing independence as you advance.
Testing & Inspections: Participate in electrical testing, inspections, and quality control procedures to verify the integrity of installed systems.
Team Communication: Maintain clear, proactive communication with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
Continuous Learning: Actively seek opportunities for professional development, building on your knowledge and skills at each stage of your apprenticeship.
